THE AMAZON RAINFOREST IS ON FIRE

I was born in Venezuela, i had the luck of having the opportunity to travel across a little part of the Amazon rainforest when i was a child. I 'm deeply sad to witness the devastating loss of biodiversity and the record fires that take place everyday in the Amazon Rainforest. It should be a major concern to us all. While the World still figures out how to react to stop criminal deforestation, our patrimonium of Mankind is being reduced to ashes. In this artwork the allegory of the Amazon rainforest is symbolised by a crying woman whom is consumed by flames
