Tidal Wave

Simon Christen experiments with time lapse photography. For Simon, time lapse is the perfect combination of both photography and animation. As an animator he is constantly studying movement in great detail, where as with photography he is forced to focus on a split second in time. Shooting time lapse footage is very time-consuming, but Simon finds it extremely rewarding when he is able to capture something beautiful that was hidden to the naked eye.
