Pensive Tree // Twirling Madrone Tree

I have been working on this series of compositions for a couple of years. It started after taking a few photographs of an old plane tree trunk located at the Blue Mosque in Istanbul and that of a Madrone tree found in Austin, Texas. Within time, working over these same photographs I have been able to come up with multiple pieces of what are called video-paintings, a term derived from ambient music pioneer Brian Eno. They have been a contemplation zone of detachment with spatial and temporal properties and sensibilities about experiencing.
