Black Flame Cartographies I — Abyssal Crucible explores the inner architecture of transformation, where matter appears suspended between collapse and formation. A system of molten structures unfolds in slow, controlled motion—voids expand and contract like breathing chambers, while metallic surfaces oscillate between gold incandescence and deep oxidized blues. The composition suggests a crucible under extreme pressure: a space where energy is contained, shaped, and continuously redefined. Rather than depicting an external landscape, the work reveals an internal cartography—mapping forces, tensions, and flows that exist beneath visible form. The result is both geological and engineered, evoking a living structure that is at once organic, architectural, and elemental. Entirely created through hand-coded processes, this work is part of an ongoing exploration into generative systems and controlled transformation.
