Surface Tensions is concerned with perception and how perspective alters one’s interactions with the world. Light is essential to this study, both physically and conceptually. It is an energy that mediates all human perception while underscoring the subjectivity of the observer: Light itself can be measured as a wave or particle, depending on your point of view. Embracing this duality, Surface Tensions simulates light particles refracted through a pool of water.
